your comments review this restaurant

Having eaten at Cafe la Serre yesterday for the first time I was interested to see if there were any reviews. Surprised to find none of recent times. It is a beautiful restaurant in a hard to find place.Good atmosphere too. The staff were pleasant enough too. I don't mind paying a little extra for ambiance and food if it's worth it.I had The Bespoke Burger ( a double burger) with french fries. The burgers really weren't all that they could have been Big Al's and the french fries could have been McDonalds. Really for E19.50 That is really a modern day rip off.The dessert was beautiful, a warm chocolate brownie with sauce and fudge ice cream, Fab! although it contained nuts and I could be wrong but I don't remember the menu saying it had nuts. My friend had a fish dish which again was over priced and really nothing to different than any where else.Personaly i would rather spend money on something to tempt the taste buds, with flavours that one wouldn't be used to. cookies are a nice treat to and an ample amount. Go see for yourself. But definitely avoid the burgers.
