Jacob's Ladder is a nice place. It's not the best place to have a really spectacular dinner but a nice place for an evening mean. The lack of attention to detail is what puts this place down. The starter was plain (partridge parfait). The main course of pork belly was excellent except for the potato gratin that I am sure had nutmeg although the maitre d said it didn't.
